The rule, in one line
We do not sell, deliver, or leave alcohol with anyone under 18. No exceptions.
When we verify
We verify your age at three points:
- Account creation — you confirm your date of birth. Accounts where the stated DOB is under 18 are blocked.
- Checkout — the system re-confirms you are 18+ before accepting payment.
- At delivery — our driver will ask to see your ID. If they cannot verify that the recipient is 18+ they will refuse delivery and return the order.
Accepted IDs
Our driver will accept any of the following:
- Spanish DNI
- NIE (residency card)
- Passport (any nationality)
- EU driving licence with photo
Expired or visibly altered IDs are not accepted. Photocopies and images on phones are not accepted — the driver must see the physical document.
Proxy purchase
It is illegal under Spanish law to buy alcohol on behalf of a minor (Law 11/2010 of Andalusia, Article 32 and following [REVIEW: exact citation]). If our driver suspects proxy purchase they will refuse delivery. Attempting proxy purchase may result in account suspension and, where appropriate, reporting to the authorities.
Visibly intoxicated recipients
Our drivers are trained to identify visible intoxication. If the recipient is visibly intoxicated the delivery will be refused regardless of age, and the order restocked. A refusal fee may apply per our Terms of Service.
Refusal consequences
If we refuse delivery for age, proxy-purchase, or intoxication reasons:
- The order is returned to our hub.
- Payment is refunded minus a refusal fee of [REVIEW: amount].
- Repeated incidents may result in account suspension or termination.
Staff training
All of our drivers complete an induction on responsible alcohol service and refresher training every 6 months, covering ID checks, proxy purchase recognition, refusal procedure, and de-escalation.
Reporting a concern
If you believe a minor has gained access to our platform or received a delivery, please contact us urgently at [email protected]. We investigate every report.
